For this year’s holiday, it was more important than ever to bring tidings of joy to our precious orphans in Armenia. You see, while the rest of the world was coping with the effects of a global pandemic, Armenians dealt with a tragic 6-week war that began in early Fall in addition to the ongoing global health crisis.

Many children lost their fathers and older brothers in the war against Azerbaijan for the fight for Artsakh. Passion Mission was contacted by House on Rock, a small church in Armenia, making big strides in impoverished villages, to help fund the Christmas event this year. The staff here at Passion Mission was more than excited to help bring cheer to these children considering everything that has happened in 2020. Through social media fundraising campaigns, Passion Mission was able to raise enough funds to reach out to 100 orphans as well as low income families. The event was such a blessing.

It brought so much hope and happiness to the needy community in Armenia, as well as for the Armenian diaspora who witnessed the event via Instagram. We look forward to many more positive events that bring smiles and gifts to those in need.
